Pupil Premium 2016-2017
Our Pupil Premium allocation for 16-17 is £15565. Part of this funding is used for specialised attendance support. This ensures that pupils attend regularly, improving engagement and progress in reading, writing and maths. It is also used for Educational Psychologist time. This ensures that individual pupils’ needs and potential barriers to learning are identified early and appropriate strategies are put in place to support pupils, improving engagement and progress in reading, writing and maths. Pupil Premium 2015-2016
Our Pupil Premium allocation for 15-16 is £17655. The majority of this funding is being used for specialised attendance support. This ensures that pupils attend regularly, improving engagement and progress in reading, writing and maths. The remainder of this funding is being used for Educational Psychologist time. This ensures that individual pupils’ needs and potential barriers to learning are identified early and appropriate strategies are put in place to support pupils, improving engagement and progress in reading, writing and maths.

Pupil Premium 2014-2015
Our Pupil Premium allocation for 14-15 was £17205. The majority of this funding was used for specialised attendance support. This ensured that pupils attended regularly, improving engagement and progress in reading, writing and maths. The remainder of this funding was used for Educational Psychologist time. This ensured that individual pupils’ needs and potential barriers to learning were identified early and appropriate strategies were put in place to support pupils, improving engagement and progress in reading, writing and maths. Pupils eligible for Pupil Premium funding made more than expected progress in reading (at 1.2 x expected rate) and writing (at 1.1 x expected rate) and expected progress in maths. Overall, pupils eligible for Pupil Premium funding made better progress than non-eligible pupils in reading, writing and maths.

PE and Sport Premium 2016-2017
Our PE and Sports Grant for 16-17 is £3959. This funding will be spent on coaching sessions. This will provide pupils with the opportunity to experience a wider range of sporting activities and should increase participation in sporting activities in and beyond school.

PE and Sport Premium 2015-2016
Our PE and Sports Grant for 15-16 is £1042. This funding is being spent on indoor and outdoor sports equipment. This will increase the frequency with which pupils engage in sports activities, leading to healthier lifestyles.

PE and Sport Premium 2014-2015
Our PE and Sports Grant for 14-15 was £2500. This funding was spent on improving indoor sports facilities so that we are able to provide a wider range of sporting experiences for pupils. This resulted in increased participation in sports in school.

Y7 Literacy and Numeracy Catch-Up Premium
We do not receive Year 7 Literacy and Numeracy Catch-Up Premium.
